New York City has record stores in the most unlikely places and around the year 2000, while rummaging through the record bins of a store located on the second floor of a building in midtown Manhattan south of 32nd Street I found a CD with an album cover that caught my attention.

It was Bobby D'Ambrosio Presents "Here I Am" with Kelli Sae.

For years I was intoxicated with the 8 variations of Here I Am that are on the CD. So it was with great pleasure that I began to listen to the voice of Kelli Sae.

In late September 2003 I found Kelli's web site and sent a message requesting the lyrics to Here I Am and this is what she wrote back:

Hey there! Here are your lyrics as promised. I sat down myself and wrote them out. Hopefully they are accurate LOL! Enjoy! Thanks again for your kind words and interest.

Kelli has stayed in touch with me through several e-mails announcing her New York performances and I was finally able to see her in person while she performed at the Blue Note on Monday September 20, 2004.
